About Design Quest

It's a space to connect, collaborate, and grow through shared knowledge. As the first-ever design community in Mangalore, we focus on UI/UX design, visual design, & related domains while warmly welcoming creatives & design enthusiast from all branches of design whether you're in Mangalore or anywhere else.

Through meetups, members exchange ideas, sharpen their skills, and inspire one another. Design Quest is more than networking, it's about building a strong, supportive community where designers can thrive together.

The Journey So Far

The Kickoff

It all began on March 11, 2023, when a small group of passionate designers came together for the first Design Quest. With keynotes, workshops, panels, and networking. What started as a circle of curious minds soon became the spark that set the Design Quest movement in motion.

Growing Together

With each edition, Design Quest grew stronger. Workshops and panel discussions expanded, attracting more designers and industry professionals. From the small group of designers who started it all, the community steadily grew, each session adding new insights, networking opportunities, shaping Design Quest into a thriving space for learning, collaboration, and shared creativity.

Breaking Barriers

Design Quest began shaping the broader creative landscape. Recognition from design leaders who saw value in the platform. What started as a local idea was now echoing across regions, inspiring new conversations on design, education, and innovation.

At the heart of Design Quest are its visionaries: Aravinth Sivasamboo, CEO and Asha Aravinth, Managing Director at Bixbytes Solutions. Their shared passion for design and community sparked an idea to create a platform where designers could learn, connect, and inspire one another. That spark became the foundation for what is now Design Quest.

The Team Behind Design Quest

Design Quest is brought to life by the CocoGrid team, a group of designers and creatives driven by a shared vision of giving back to the design community.

From shaping ideas to organizing events, workshops, and experiences, the team works closely behind the scenes to create meaningful spaces where designers can learn, connect, and grow together. Their collective effort and commitment form the foundation that keeps Design Quest evolving as a strong, inclusive design community.
